A Family Run Dogo Argentino Breeder
Thank you for visiting PNW Dogos. We are a small family run Dogo Argentino breeder located by the beautiful Hood Canal in Washington State. In our home, we believe that our Dogo Argentino’s are our family. We pride ourselves in breeding quality puppies that are a good fit for your home. Our Dogo’s are United Kennel Club (UKC) and/or American Kennel Club (AKC) registered. Since 2014 we have been raising our pack and have working on developing appropriate socialization Guardian Dog skills.
Our Dogo Puppies
All PNW Dogo puppies are health screened and come with up to date vaccinations. We also believe proper socialization is key to ensure a bonding experience with the puppies at their new home. Puppies will not go to their new homes until they are at least 8 weeks old.

MEET OUR DOGOS
MOOSE
Son of Bolt Fiero an amazing hunter and Gabriela de la Roza a beautiful dame. Moose has amazing lines. Moose is very powerful and strong. Moose protects his pack and is always on guard. He loves his kids more then anything and was purchased to be a true guardian dog. Moose is an amazing specimen of the Dogo breed. He is very intelligent and loving. Moose is always alert and aware of his surrounding making him an amazing guard dog. AKC and UKC registered. Champion bloodlines
Lucy
Lucy is gentle and sweet. She lives in the house with two children, a Corgi named Zoe, two cats and two ferrets. Lucy has a heart of gold that is fueled by pure affection. Lucy is the youngest member of our pack and always excited to play. She is very smart and very attentive with the kids. AKC and UKC registered and of Champion bloodlines.
Luna
Luna is Lucy’s older half sister. Luna also lives in our house and adores our children. Luna loves all of our pets including the cats often found cuddled up with one. Luna is protective over her entire pack. Luna is very smart and attentive. She always puts the needs of the pack first and is very instinctively on guard. AKC and UKC registered. Champion bloodlines.

ALL ABOUT DOGOS
The Dogo Argentino, also known as the Argentine Mastiff, has been bred since 1928. They are an UKC and AKC-recognized dog breed and are known for their bravery, loyalty, and affectionate personality. Loyal and protective the dog Argentino breed thinks for themselves and does not need training to be protective of your family or properties. Our Dogos are bred for intelligence, Drive, courage, loyalty, and nobility. Our mission is to produce the best guardian type Dogos in America. All owners must go through a rigorous interview process to ensure the right Dogo goes to the right family. Dogos are not the biggest dog the world not the fastest dog in the world and not the strongest dog in the world but the Dogo Argentino breed is the bravest dog in the world. Though very big strong and fast the heart and determination of a Dogo is by far at the top of the list of amazing attributes. The original breeder, Antonio Nores Martinez, bred this dog for big game hunting: specifically wild boar. Though it’s a purebred dog today, originally it began as a cross between Cordoba Fighting Dogs and a few other dogs including the Great Dane and Great Pyrenees breeds.
What breeds make up the Dogo Argentino?
Boxer
The Boxer was breed for it vitality and gentleness.
Pointer
The Pointer gave a keen sense of smell.
Bulldog
The Bulldog gave the Dogo Argentino it’s boldness, as well as a broad chest.
Bull Terrier
The Bull Terrier provided it’s fearless nature.
Great Pyrenees
The Great Pyrenees provided the Dogo Argentino with it’s beautiful white coat and protective instincts.
Irish Wolfhound
The Irish Wolfhound provided keen instinct and ability to hunt wild game.
Dogue De Bordeaux
The Dogue De Bordeaux provided powerful jaws.
Mastiff
The Mastiff provided endurance and power.
Great Dane
The Great Dane provideds the size for the Dogo Argentino.
And finally,
Fighting Dog of Cordoba
The Fighting Dog of Cordoba was the base breed for the Dogo Argentino. The Fighting Dog of Cordoba was a cross breed of English Bulldog, Bull Terrier and Mastiff. This incredible dog was agile and strong but lacked the ability to behave as a family dog, and also did not do well hunting in a pack.
Dogo Argentinos are great family dogs, great guardian dogs amazing companions and the best hunters. Any changes in this blood line and you do not have a Dogo Argentino.
